BIOGRAPHY

1959年11月28日大阪府岸和田市に生まれ、堺市西区平岡町で育ち、幼少期を過ごす。

母親はクレージーキャッツと一緒に歌った事もあるというジャズシンガーで、3歳からピアノを習い始め、ジャズに親しんだ。

Miki Matsubara (松原 みき, Matsubara Miki) (November 28, 1959 – October 7, 2004) was a Japanese singer, lyricist, and composer from Nishi-ku, SakaiOsaka, Japan.

She is known mainly as a pop singer by some hit songs like "Mayonaka no DOOR (Stay with me)", "Neat na gogo san-ji", "The Winner", among others. During her career, she has released 16 singles, 9 original albums. Despite her work being mainly domestic, she is well known outside Japan as an anime singer and songwriter. She also had some international work with Motown musicians Dr.STRUT in Los Angeles (Album recordings for "Cupid"), Tokyo and Osaka (Hall concerts), later releasing a jazz cover album entitled "BLUE EYES".

In October 7, 2004, Matsubara died at the age of 44 due to complications from uterine cervix cancer.

松原 みき(まつばら みき、1959年11月28日 - 2004年10月7日)は、日本女性歌手作詞家作曲家大阪府堺市西区出身、血液型O型。「スージー・松原(スージーまつばら)」という芸名を用いたこともある。
